Man Accused Of Murdering 3-Year-Old In Little Village

A Chicago man has been charged with murdering a 3-year-old girl Little Village.
Police responded to a call from an apartment in the 2500 block of South Homan Avenue saying the young girl was not breathing, around 1:10 a.m. early Sunday morning. She was pronounced dead at 1:26 a.m. The girl was identified by the Cook County medical examiner as Jesipel Aleman. Her death was ruled a homicide after an autopsy report showed she sustained multiple injuries from an assault, according to the Sun-Times Wire.
Eduardo Aleman, 26, has been charged with first-degree murder and is expected to be arraigned in bond court Tuesday. Police have not commented on his relationship to Jesipel.
