Eating while biking is a pretty bad idea, but shouting out Chicago grub classics while biking? Sure, why not? The city's popular bikeshare program is turning four on Wednesday, and to wish itself a happy birthday Divvy is rolling out a mini-fleet of Chicago-food-themed bikes. You'll also be able to a $15 discount off an annual membership between Monday, June 26 and Friday, July 7 in celebration of the milestone.

The selections of food themes are mostly what you'd expect: the Chicago hot dog, deep dish pizza, the Jibarito sandwich and—considering the occasion—birthday cake. Special kudos, though, for choosing the mighty Jibarito over a sucker cut like, say, the Italian beef, as much as we love 'em.

The bikeshare service has expanded quite a bit since its early days. "We're proud that Divvy has logged more than 11 million rides in just four years," said Chicaog Department of Transportation Commissioner Rebekah Scheinfeld in a release.. We hope that Chicagoans who haven’t tried Divvy yet will give it a go and discover how easy and fun it is to get around town on a Divvy bike."

CDOT recently said that Divvy will expand its overall presence by adding 40 new stations and 400 new bikes before year's end. Last summer Divvy announced a 1000-bike expansion, primarily on the South and West Sides.

You can sign up for an annual membership with the discount by using the code "BIRTHDAY" here during the valid discount window. May your fist ride be a Jibarito ride.
