OkCupid 'Awards' Shows Users Sure Do Love The North Side

The old-and-married life means this writer hasn't interfaced with any of those newfangled dating apps that the kids love to swipe so much in a long time. But the local folks who do use one of the most prominent digital romance facilitators, OkCupid, have some opinions about what constitutes the best dating spots in Chicago. Of course, this being 2017, there are some wacky categories in the OkCupid Daters' Choice Awards (Best Bathrooms for Sex, Ass-Kicking Locales) to go along with more conventional choices (Classic Local Spots). But the breadth is rather, um, geographically narrow, we noticed, with 12-out-of-12 locations falling on the North Side. There are some good picks, to be sure. We enjoy pretty much all of them, but still.
