The stretch of Milwaukee Avenue that hugs the Blue Line may be inundated with TODs, but never fear, Red Line denizens—transit-oriented developments will also gentrify your neighborhoods. They've already displaced the Alley; now, a new one may be coming to Ravenswood.

A 54-unit rental building has been proposed for 4906 N. Clark St., the
Edgeville Buzz reports
. The structure—right on the edge between Andersonville and Ravenswood—would extend from Ainslie to Argyle, and cover 55,201 square feet.

Rents would run from $1,400 to $2,600 for studios through two-bedrooms. High, but not as high as Blue Line rents... yet.

Currently, the project has passed muster with the block club, but the property still needs to be rezoned by the city before construction can move forward. Construction could start as early as spring 2018.
