Pearl Jam frontman, Evanston native and Cubs diehard Eddie Vedder has been known to join a Wrigleyville rando or two for an impromptu musical performance. (You might recall his teaming up with Bill Murray and assorted revelers at a house party for a rendition of "The Weight" during last year's World Series run.) A similar charming clip emerged over the weekend, with Vedder teaming up with two street musicians for a short jam outside Wrigley Field, after a Friday night home game.

According to ChiCitySports, Vedder ran into the buskers on Waveland Avenue and decided to take a guest turn on guitar and vocals, which they obliged. (Not every aging rocker in Chicago was at Riot Fest this weekend, apparently.) Some passersby saw the "Corduroy" rendition and seemed to realize what was happening, while others simply kept about their way. Check out a couple videos of the run-through below.

And speaking of Wrigley Field and Eddie Vedder, that's where the band's upcoming Let's Play Two concert album and movie were filmed and recorded. Now you know.
