Police are warning residents after burglars broke into residences on the same block in Ukrainian Village last week.

In each incident, burglars "damaged door locks and door frames" in order to get inside then stole victims' property, police said.

Both incidents happened in the 2300 block of West Augusta Boulevard on Sept. 12. One burglary happened sometime between 5:10 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.; another occurred the same day between 7:30 a.m. and 1 p.m., according to police.

No description of the suspects was available.

Police ask anyone with information to contact detectives at (312) 747-8382.
