Protesters rallied to call for urgent aid to Puerto Rico, which is in crisis following a devastating Hurricane Maria which left the island without power earlier this week and has sparked a humanitarian disaster.

Protesters gathered outside of Trump Tower in Chicago Friday evening to call attention to what they say is President Donald Trump's inadequate response to the crisis and to calls for federal aid. Some carried signs that read, "Bad Job, Orangie," and Puerto Rico needs urgent help, food and water is scarce." Others pointed to the need for fuel to keep hospitals with important services up and running as the island continues to go without power.
