A time-lapse shows a new luxury Gold Coast apartment building rising 35 stories into the air at Clark and Division in just under two minutes.

The Sinclair, a project by developer Fifield Cos. that was designed by architect Solomon Cordwell Buenz, will be renting units that range from a studio for $1,970 to a penthouse that costs nearly $14,000 monthly. The Sinclair boasts that it has large windows for residents to take in lakefront and skyline views. At the base level, which you can see in the video, is the 58,000-square-foot flagship Jewel Osco grocery store.

Curbed Chicago reports this project has been in the works since 2012, but construction didn't start until late 2015. It opened for renting last month.

The site touts the building's luxury amenities, like a yoga studio, poolside cabanas and coffee bar. And it describes the experience of living in the Gold Coast this way: "The patterns at Armani are especially beautiful this season. Browse them this morning, and then drop in at Nomi for a light lunch with friends."
