Police Warn Of Home Invasions & Burglaries In Lincoln Park This Month

Police are warning about a series of home invasions or residential burglaries that have taken place this month.

In each case, a single young man broke into homes in the middle of the night, while the people living in the homes were asleep, police said in a Monday afternoon community alert. The man was described as between ages 18 and 25 years old, 5'04-5'10, 150-180 pounds, wearing a black baseball hat with white writing, a white or gray hooded sweatshirt, and a green or dark colored puffy vest.

The home invasions took place at the following places and times:
•In the 2600 Block of North Burling on Oct. 16 at approximately 3:50 a.m.
•In the 3000 Block of North Kenmore on Oct. 19 at approximately 3:56 a.m.
•In the 2400 Block of North Jansen on Oct. 25 at approximately 4:30 a.m.
