Exxon just had their $2.5 Billion Punitive Damage fine reduced to less than $600 million for the Valdez oil spill in Alaska by the Supreme Court in a 5-3 ruling. look i agree with one of the comment's that it's a really good thing that are goverment agents are beeing aware and protecting.but on the other hand i also think they could have handled it in a better fasion than the way they did!A little kindness goes a long way. this is why thier getting such a bad name. countless incidents like this are report all the time. not just from big brother but down to local law inforcement, such as if you will the Rodny King insodent. which is far gretter in surcomstance.
