I've found that a really good way to not get parking ticket is to not let your meter expire and/or to not park illegally....

You can very easily get 'no parking' signs from your alderman if you are moving and need to reserve a parking space. It's far more dignified and legal than using trash-picked furniture....

But what makes it a monopoly? There are a gazillion things for bands to do in Chicago over the summer. 200 or so bands play Lollapalooza...so that leaves, like, 1350891309512345 other bands to play ...
