Our lost in Indiana at night excursion to Three Floyds not only netted us an amazing meal, but a growler of amazing beer. Because who knows when we'll find ourselves down Munster way in the near future? This selection is a recently re-christened beer from Three Floyds that's taken off on drafts throughout the city.

Chicagoist's "Beer of the Week:" Southern Tier "Phin & Matt's Extraordinary Ale"
Tangy barbecue calls for a good pale ale. This American pale ale from Southern Tier Brewing pairs well with the tangy "pork wings" from Flo & Santos. It's brewed with whole hops and barley malt. While it isn't as spicy as, say, Daisy Cutter, Phin & Matt's does have a slight peppery note on the palate, complemented beautifully by the barley malt. this is a wonderful beer to ease your way into the cooler weeks ahead.
