EP3 is Secret Colours' follow up to their 2010 self-titled album, and it continues to display the bands fondness of sounds rooted in '90s shoe-gaze, '60s British invasion, and early 70’s english metal.

Apteka Will Melt Your Face Right Off And You Will Like It
We're not 100% certain why Apteka is calling Gargoyle Days their first full length album when it has the same number of tracks as their debut EP in 2009, but when a band is creating music this good they can call it whatever they want. We've listened to the album quite a few times over the last few weeks and it just gets better every time.
DOWNLOAD THEN SEE: Serena-Maneesh, The Depreciation Guild, Apteka
There is going to be a LOT of beautiful noise at Bottom Lounge tonight. When 4ADers Serena-Maneesh, gauze-poppers The Depreciation Guild and local shoegazers Apteka each take the stage we expect the rafters will be rumbling from all the feedback. Also, attendees may suddenly find themselves sucked through a vortex of nostalgia to find themselves trapped on the set of 120 Minutes. We mean that as a compliment.
Tuesday Afternoon Diversion: Rock It To Russia
We've already spewed forth our admiration for Chicago new-wave-punk-garage-rock quartet Mr. Russia, but we just wanted to alert you to their CD release show for their debut album -- Teething -- at Metro this Friday. To whet everyone's appetite in advance of the big day the group has cobbled together a video for lead single "Skipping Hearts."
