Rare is the person that will readily admit that he or she needs a little help in the bedroom. Yet if we were really such outstanding lovers all of the time, the adult novelties business would not be the multi-billion dollar industry it is. Let's face it, whether it is in the warm up or the execution, we can all use a little extra "somethin' somethin'" once in awhile. Making love, for what the cliches are worth, really is like building a fire. Having a little extra kindling on hand is never a bad idea. Enough with the tacky metaphors though. This is a food column. Let's talk aphrodisiacs, folks!

One Great Sandwich: Cipollina's Prosciutto Panino Freddo
When our "creature of habit" gene keeps leading us back to the same sandwich place (Milk and Honey) we can’t help but get excited when owner Carol Watkins opens another sandwich shop just down the block. She partnered with John Manion, former chef/co-owner of Mas to open Cipollina in the former Milk and Honey Bake Shop space. Cipollina offers several new Italian deli-style sandwiches and paninis we can throw into our "sandwiches close to home" rotation. Our favorite is identified on the menu by its ingredients: “prosciutto, arugula, chopped Calabrian peppers, parmesan truffle butter.”
