Hall of Sveum: Cubs Name Their Next Manager
Sveum is widely respected within baseball, although his stint as the Red Sox’s third-base coach seems somewhat controversial.

No End In Sight for Cubs' Theo Impasse
At this rate the negotiations to extricate Epstein from Yawkey Way are beginning to rival the Billy Goat Curse, the College of Coaches and the black cat on the field in Cubbie lore.
What's the Deal with Theo's Deal?
Given the star-crossed history of the Chicago National League Ballclub and the current dysfunction of the Red Sox, is anyone surprised a deal to bring Epstein to the team has become filled with drama?

Jenks in Red, but Issues Remain in Black and White
Spring is almost here and I can smell the baseball in the air; or at least hear it. What’s a South Side season without some controversy? And what’s controversy without a lethal mix of social media and White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen?
While his socks may be red, former White Sox reliever Bobby Jenks’ issues remain in black and white. The now Boston Red Sox reliever said he was affected by some front office controversy last season and some choice words have been shared through the airwaves.

Big Weekend Of Baseball
It's going to be a gorgeous weekend, according to Chicago Weather Godfather Tom Skilling, and both of Chicago's MLB teams are at home for important series. Up on the North Side, the Cubs-Cardinals rivalry (tied at three games apiece this season) is renewed this weekend when Ted Lilly squares off against Braden Looper. The Cubs have been on a hot-streak, winning eight of their last ten and widening their NL Central lead to five games over the Brewers and six over the Cards. Carlos Zambrano is scheduled to take the mound for the Cubs tomorrow while Ryan Dempster will start on Sunday. The current incarnation of the Cubs rotation is 43-23 so far this year.
