The Bulls lost a thriller on Tuesday versus the Indiana Pacers, 107-105. This one was nip and tuck all the way, and with the score tied at 105 the Pacers' T.J. Ford drove into the paint and nailed a fadeaway jumper to take the lead. This left Chicago down two with only four seconds to play, and Ben Gordon couldn't connect on a hurried three-pointer as the Pacers held on for victory. The shot was one of six missed three-point attempts by Gordon, on an otherwise stellar shooting night for the Bulls. Derrick Rose finished with 24 points and 11 rebounds to lead the team, and Tyrus Thomas and Kirk Hinrich scored 20 apiece. John Salmons sat this one out with a groin injury; his status appears day-to-day. After dropping two straight on the road, the Bulls return to the United Center on Saturday to host the New Jersey Nets and kick off a much-needed four-game home stand. more ›

The Chicago Bulls defeated the Washington Wizards 101-99 on the road Monday night, putting them a game and a half ahead of ninth-place Charlotte in the East. The Bulls, who trailed by as many as 10 points early in the second half, used an 18-2, third-quarter run to take the lead. That lead stood at nine with just over two minutes to play, but the Wizards mounted a late charge and found themselves within shooting distance at 98-96. A layup by Kirk Hinrich with eight seconds left was enough to put the game out of reach, as time expired on the Wizards. The Bulls—who are just 12-26 away this season—will play eight of their final 11 regular season games at the United Center. more ›

The Chicago Bulls snapped an 0-7 road slump with a win over the Oklahoma City Thunder on Wednesday, 103-96. The Thunder took a five-point lead into the half, but Derrick Rose dropped 14 in the third quarter to spark a 10-point swing for the Bulls. Chicago carried the momentum into the final period, growing its lead to nine, but nearly faltered with a three-and-a-half minute dry spell towards the end of regulation. With their advantage reduced to one possession, Tyrus Thomas grabbed three key defensive rebounds and went four-for-four from the free-throw line to keep the Bulls on top. Thomas finished with 12 points and 11 rebounds, while Rose went 12-for-14 from the field and led the Bulls with 25. The Bulls, who host the West's-best LA Lakers on Saturday, are now a game and a half ahead of Milwaukee and Charlotte in the standings. more ›
