Cold Weather Suspected in Deaths of 2 Homeless Men
This freezing holiday weekend while we were all cozied up by the fireplace opening presents with loved ones, two homeless men died on the streets of Chicago. Their suspected cause of death is hypothermia. Makes us really appreciate what we've got. A roof over our heads and a warm bed to sleep in.
Hot Dog! Doug's Rises From The Ashes
Chicagoist lived in Roscoe Village for almost a year before we'd discovered Hot Doug's, though it's not as if you could have blamed us. Nestled in a small storefront on the west end of the Roscoe Street hubbub of commerce, Hot Doug's was the kind of place you had to seek out if you were new to the neighborhood.
