Chicago Magazine continues to roll out their top 40 lists celebrating their 40th anniversary all year and their latest is a pretty intriguing list: the top 40 artistic breakthroughs in the city's history. The list runs the gamut overing poetry, film, architecture, and, yes, the Second City troupe's migration to . The video above gives you a hint at Number One but the whole list is worth checking out, from the Cloud Gate to Roger & Ebert to Gwendolyn Brooks to Wilco, there's plenty to check out and plenty to argue over. Bowles Strolls Past the Avenues
Some chef news for you: Monday both Chicago Mag's Dish and TOC broke the news that Avenues' Graham Elliot Bowles will be leaving the AAA five-diamond award winning restaurant in April to open a new restaurant in the former Harvest on Huron space (217 W. Huron).
