He could certainly knock out a mean children’s book, but this time it’s his adult content that is being adapted for the stage. Chicagoist went by Marshall Field's to check out the holiday windows that were unveiled this weekend. We'd heard the theme this year was going to be Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and were disappointed when we got to the first window to see that it was the tired story of Cinderella. We guess.. it's a classic, but it would have been refreshing to see Charlie in the windows. Also, it took us a bit to figure out which was Cinderella and which were the ugly stepsisters. .. because Cinderella, this year she sure ain't much to look at. more ›
