Oprah Pulls Columbine Show

Today is the 10th anniversary of the Columbine shootings and Oprah was going to run a special on the tragedy. It seems, however, that she's had a change of heart. Earlier this morning, the following message was posted on Oprah's Facebook page:

To Our Viewers: I decided to pull the Columbine show today. After reviewing it, I thought it focused too much on the killers. Today, hold a thought for the Columbine community. This is a hard day for them. --Oprah
According to the Sun-Times: "The episode titled '10 Years Later: The Truth about Columbine' was to air Monday, the anniversary of the massacre in Littleton, Colo., that killed 12 students and a teacher." In its place, Oprah will rerun an older episode. more ›

What Not To Do If You're Planning An Attack On Your School

Sometimes, life can get you down and you just get so frustrated you don't know how else to channel your rage. One way you shouldn't, however, is to go on your Facebook profile and threaten to pull a Columbine on your school. Kyle P. Tulley, 17, of Joliet Catholic Academy, learned that the hard way this week. Tulley was arrested on Thursday after a few other students at his school noticed threats he had posted on his Facebook page. Tulley's been charged with disorderly conduct and harassment through electronic communications for threatening to punch Jeffery Budz, the school's principal. But Tulley didn't stop there.
