My, oh my, Wednesday, you sure know how to sparkle. After the weekend's cool, gray weather you're coming out gangbusters, aren't you? Sparkling, sunny skies, temps warming into the 70s... we've half a mind to call in sick. And we can't blame any members who decide to, either. (Have we mentioned we have a mobile site?) And it's going to stick around into tomorrow to, even as lows tonight fall to the upper 50s. Seriously, Chicago, get in some out of doors time while you can because the weekend is looking cold and dreary again. But, for now, it's cooperating and giving us every temptation we need. more ›

It appears fall's not ready to give way to winter quite yet and, in fact, it feel like the Spring we never quite had. Gorgeous, sunny skies are overhead with that bright, little guy we call the sun. Temps will warm themselves up to 70 today for the warmest temps in almost a month and a half (tomorrow is already looking like more of the same, as well). So we think this is Mother Nature's make-up gift to us, her "sorry about taking away your spring and making the first half of your summer cold and wet" gift. If so, we accept it. Today is going to be another gorgeous, bright day with mild temps and bountiful sunshine. There will be more clouds than we've seen in a bit, but don't worry, no rain. Highs will be in the mid 70s after a cool start to the day. A look ahead shows clouds and possibly rain in the coming days, so today is just fine if you've been looking into sneaking out of the office a little bit early and enjoying something outside. Go ahead, we won't tell. Lows tonight will fall back into the upper 50s.

We've gone on and on about it being such a cool month - the coolest July in 67 years - but man, it's days like today that make us not mind. Highs will tip out right at around 80 and skies will be sunny, sunny, sunny. It'll be a gorgeous day to eat lunch outside, take the kids to the park, or just, you know, shove off work early (we won't tell). Partly cloudy skies remain in place tonight with lows in the mid 60s. It looks like there's a chance of rain tomorrow and temps will warm a bit through the weekend. more ›
