Henry Hyde, 6th District Congressman since 1975, is retiring next year, and the battle to take over his seat is heating up. Just a couple of weeks ago, Senator Barack Obama, in light of the ongoing City Hall scandals, expressed reservations about putting his support behind Mayor Daley’s possible reelection bid.
