Two years ago, when it became apparent that the people of this nation would have to endure another four years with a criminally negligent dry drunk as President, and that a majority of voters actually wanted this, Chicagoist entertained thoughts of reclaiming our "A" game and consuming all the liquor we could in order to black out as much as possible through 2009. We didn't follow through, mainly because we hold to the old adage that alcohol and politics don't mix.
