The last time we checked in with those crazy kids at Westboro Baptist Church, they were losing the battle to the awesome counter-protest held at the University of Chicago. Today, the church made a return trip with a busy itinerary that included a stop over at the Don Rickles show and several synagogues, including Emanuel Congregation and Or Chadash in Edgewater. The Edgewater Community Religious Association decided to hold their own peaceful counter-protest. What today's counter-protest at Emanuel lacked in nerd humor it made up for with sincerity and good will.
