Dunkin' Dinner

Cancel your dinner plans boys and girls, cuz Dunkin' Donuts is throwing away their microwaves and taking back the night. In an effort to increase costumer satisfaction and continue their Dunkin' Manifest Destiny, the food chain known for their delicious, morning baked books is targeting afternoon and evening crowds with all new flatbread sandwiches and pizzas heated in convection ovens rather than microwaves. more ›

McDonalds Hopes McBloggers will Influence McMoms

McDonalds Hopes McBloggers will Influence McMoms

If we are weighing "want to know" vs. "don't want to know" when it comes to where and how McDonald's food is prepared, Chicagoist definitely falls on the "don't want to know" side. Ignorance is bliss, people, ignorance is bliss. more ›

Books such as “Fast Food Nation” and “Chew On This” have gone so far as to claim that the fast food giant’s products are unhealthy (gasp!) and poor quality (shock!), and the company has had enough. more ›

Elsewhere in the Ist-a-verse

SFist commeters pose for before and aftershocks when the mayor commemorates a 1906 earthquake...at 4:30 in the morning. A hot tip on the Chronicle vending machines comes in and the SFist war correspondent risks life and limb to post this dispatch from the frontlines. Houstonist announces their new Cops spinoff "World's Funniest Tazer Videos" and the possible cancellation of their pervs' "World's Grossest Bathroom Videos" and PBS trains cams on cows at, uhg, Mootube.
