Prison Break Accountant Found Dead at The Drake
On Monday, 42-year-old Matthew Houbrick, an accountant for the Fox TV show "Prison Break," was found dead in his 6th-floor hotel room at The Drake. It's gonna be about 6-8 weeks before toxicology tests for sure say what he died of, but he was found lying on the floor near his bed with a white powder and pills nearby. Seems like a drug overdose. Apparently the hotel staff was tipped off by a concerned caller so they telephoned the police in and that's when he was found.
2 New Chicago Cop Shows
Edward Allen Bernero, the former Chicago police officer who teamed up with John Wells to produce Third Watch, is getting 7 figures from Fox TV to create 2 new Chicago cop-themed dramas. One will air on FOX and is described as a modern-day Starsky & Hutch and has 2 cops who solve cases together and have different views on upholding the law. The other is described as a police "area headquarters ensemble show" (whatever that means) and will be on CBS.
