One for the Road: MC Hammer Owns the Gathering
Juggalos Attack The Wu, Too
While we don't at all condone the violent treatment of Tila Tequila by Juggalos at this weekend's Gathering of the Juggalos, we, like the AV Club's Nathan Rabin, weren't that shocked by what transpired. What was a little more surprising is that similar behavior carried over to members of the Wu Tang Clan. During a set by Method Man and Redman on Sunday night, an over-exuberant Juggalo hurled a full beer can at the duo, striking Method in the face. TMZ has more photos and reports that Method and Red kept the show going in spite of the incident.
Monday Afternoon Diversion
Tom Green - you remember him, right? - made a trip to downstate Illinois for the annual Gathering of the Juggalos. The video starts with him joking around with Tila Tequila and we all know what happened to her. (The AV Club has its own account of what happened, as well.) There's plenty of spaced out juggalos, Green leading a mass of them in a call and response chant involving the phrase "chicken sandwich," and a cameo by Gallagher. [Language NSFW]
Juggalupdate! The Gathering, Now With Gallagher
Up until now, there's been a woeful lack of information about this year's Gathering of the Juggalos, taking place at downstate Cave-in-Rock. Thankfully, the fine people ninjas at Psychopathic Records have finally released this year's infomercial chock full of lineup info in similar form to the video that kicked off all the hype about last year's GOJ.

Juggalo Nation Rejoice: Tickets For 2010's "Gathering" On Sale
We can't understand how we've overlooked this for this long given our in-depth and long-term coverage of the Juggalo Nation. Last year we helped kick off the Juggalo Renaissance by featuring last year's Gathering of the Juggalos photos and video by Derek Erdman. Since then, Juggalos have gone viral, spawning websites galore and even parodied on SNL.
Scenes from Juggalo, USA
Last week, the 10th Annual Gathering of the Juggalos came to the tiny Illinois village of Cave-in-Rock -- bringing together fans of Psychopathic Records artists, particularly Insane Clown Posse, for four hot days of camping, hanging out, Faygo-drinking, and communion. Eyewitness Chicagoist was not there, because we are allergic to both Faygo and anyone who is wearing clown make-up. But local artist Derek Erdman was there, and he came away with some very exciting photographs and video footage.
