Between the hair-band nostalgia and the release of Chinese Democracy, we're feeling moderately metal in our post-Thanksgiving hangover period. So thankfully, a fine gentleman calling himself SCStunner316 has been kind enough to post some of the final performances of the original G'n'R playing circa 1992 at the Rosemont Horizon, back before Allstate bought the performance rights in 1999.

Tommy Stinson's side project, Guns N' Roses, has finally released the long awaited follow-up to their last album, The Spaghetti Incident. The album has a pristine sound that would have been absolutely perfect and killer ... had it come out in 1998.

Honestly, we still can't believe Guns 'N Roses is finally releasing Chinese Democracy. In fact, until we're actually holding the damn thing in our hands you're not going to dissuade us from believing that Axl Rose will pull the whole thing at the 11th hour, head back into the studio, and deny us our free Dr. Pepper. And, though all sensible thinking should lead us to act otherwise, we're actually looking forward to hearing the 14 years in the making album.
