*Yaaaaaawn* Nothing exciting about today's weather. What's that about March coming in like a lamb but going out like a pain in the ass because it's still snowing when the Cubs and Sox start playing? Whatever the case, March is still off to a quiet start today with highs in the mid-30s under cloudy skies with a chance of a scattered flurry here or there. But really what has us excited is this weekend. See, both the Cubs and Sox - the signs of summer around these parts no matter if they don't play into October - start spring training games later this week. Which means we've already seen the last weekend without baseball til November! And even better? This little graphic below, the forecast from Mr. Weather himself, Tom Skilling. Not that it's a bad thing. Most of us are shaking off hangovers from indulging in too much booze or candy. We'll get a nice day to lay about, watch movies or the Bears game, and recover. Though if you do make it outside, the weather is going to cooperate. Highs should reach the lower 50s and we should see a good amount of sunshine. Clouds thicken later in the day but the threat of rain isn't enough to worry about. And, more importantly, now that Halloween is done and gone, let's start focusing on what really matters: turkey. more ›
