In the wake of the ACORN debacle, voter registration is coming under more scrutiny than ever before. And now the Illinois and Lake County Republican Party have filed suit against Clerk Willard Helander, Citizen Action/Illinois and Terrance LeNoir over allegations of voter registration improprieties in Lake County. The suit, which seeks an emergency injunction, claims that LeNoir, working on behalf of Citizen Action/Illinois, "delivered hundreds of 'fraudulent, incomplete or illegitimate' voter registrations."
