Today's weather doesn't care that it's Columbus Day and that some of you have the day off. It doesn't care that the kids are home. And it doesn't care that so many of us still have to trudge into the office. Today's weather is going to be meh and we're just going to have to either follow suit or do our best to fight it. It is Monday, after all. There won't be any snow as had previously been predicted; highs will soar to around 50 degrees today. But clouds will hang overhead for most of the day not helping our mood. What will help is that clouds should break sometime later this evening and overnight, paving the way for a much sunnier Tuesday...before the chance of rain rolls in later in the week. Lows tonight will be around 40.

Today's Weather: Meh
That picture looks way more gorgeous than the weather we're going to be seeing today but it's really pretty and this week's weather has been good but not great. Just kind of...meh. It's not stormy or too hot or anything, it just...is. Today is no exception. Mostly cloudy skies and unseasonably cool highs in the low 70s. Scattered rain showers. We await summer's arrival after his brief cameo appearance a few weeks ago.
Today's Weather: Milquetoast
Today is...well, it's not that bad if we keep things in perspective. Sure, today is going to be cloudy with a 40 percent chance of showers and highs only in the upper 40s. And, when compared to the last few days, yeah, today sure does seem pretty...blah. Tonight's lows in the mid 30s won't help matters, but just remember: it could be worse! According to some people, today, while a set back, is simply the beginning of another climb back into warmer Spring-like weather. But, then again, yeah, today's weather is kinda crummy after such a beautiful weekend.
Today's Weather: Meh
Right about now is the time of year when we start chomping at the bit for Spring. We have peeks of the sun to start the day but clouds will roll in soon enough. We have a chance of snow showers throughout the day but no accumulation is expected. Temps will top out around 20. Tonight, we could see a bit more snow as system clips us to the south; central Illinois will see more snow but we'll see anywhere from a dusting to two inches. Lows will drop to the lower teens. Another round of chilly temps hits Thursday into Friday, but early indications are we could see a warm-up this weekend. If there's any good news, it's that we're starting to get more sunlight these days. The long, slow trudge to Spring has started.
