Anyone who went to Green City Market (as we did) on Saturday saw a strange thing. About a block to the south, there was a grid of unoccupied paths laid out, like a ghost farmers market was taking place at the same time. Today is the day that President-elect Barack Obama is scheduled to move from the South Side to Washington DC. Michelle and the girls scooted out of town yesterday, a day earlier that scheduled, apparently to give them more time to adjust before the girls start school tomorrow morning. The move was scheduled to accommodate the girls’ school schedule, which starts up tomorrow after the holiday recess. more ›
