Former Bull Eddy Curry Sued for Sexual Harassment

Remember Eddy Curry? Sure, you do... he's the big, soft center that Jerry Krause paired with the tall, lanky Tyson Chandler to bring the Bulls back to glory. Only his heart gave out figuratively and literally, and the Bulls traded him to the New York Knicks. Since heading to New York, Curry's had his share of off-the-court headlines. First there was the summer 2007 home invasion. And now Curry's being sued for sexual harrassment by Dave Kuchinsky, a former employee.

Maybe we got a bit ahead of ourselves when we dreamed of Greg Oden trading in the red jersey of Ohio St. for a red Bulls uni, on account of the Bulls holding the right to swap picks with the New York Knicks in this year's draft as part of the Eddy Curry trade. But you saw how bad the Knicks were in '06, right? And then they added Isiah Thomas to their bench as...

Well, the Bulls certainly didn't go down without a fight — not even after falling into a 3-0 series hole. But down they ultimately did go, losing to the Detroit Pistons 95-85 in Game 6 on Thursday night at the United Center. For a half, actually forcing Game 7 seemed like a realistic possibility as the Bulls took a 48-43 lead into the locker room. P.J. Brown had the playoff game of his long career,...

Chicagoist remembers when the highlight of the long, playoff-less off-season for the Bulls was the NBA Draft lottery. We saw the Bulls participate 6 years in a row, grabing the top overall pick in 1999. After a one year haitus, the Bulls again participated in the lottery event, held in the NBA's New Jersey studios. Of course, this time they participated on behalf of the New York Knicks' draft pick, traded to the Bulls as...

The Miami Heat, led by the Shaquille O'Neal of old (30 points, 20 rebounds) overwhelmed the Bulls at the UC last night, winning 113-96. We began to appreciate just how well Tyson Chandler played defense against Shaq, before spraining his ankle -- he had another subpar night, playing just 18 minutes as foul trouble again plagued him. Nocioni, Gordon and Hinrich each contributed 20+ points of offense, once again, but it wasn't enough to keep...

The Bulls played a matinee today in celebration of the Martin Luther King holiday. Facing off against the New York Knicks for the second time in three days, the Bulls knocked off the Knicks 88-86 at Madison Square Garden. While a tight game throughout, the Bulls were playing from behond for most of the game. Having taken the lead late in the third quarter, the Knicks reclaimed the lead. But a key 3-pointer by Andres Nocioni tied the game with less than a minute to play. After 40 scoreless seconds, the Bulls inbounded the ball following a foul with 16 seconds left. Running down the clock, rookie Ben Gordan -- playing his first pro game in his home town -- hit a floater with 0.01 seconds left giving the Bulls the two-point win.

Chicagoist thought that the Jalen Rose trade talks last season took forever before the deal was consummated, but the trade talks involving Jamal Crawford are setting a whole new standard! After weeks of negotiations, the Bulls and New York Knicks seem to finally have hammered out all the players who will be included in the deal. Last week, Bulls GM and former on-court adversary Knicks President Isiah Thomas even met face to face to push trade talks forward. The agreement in place sends Jamal Crawford and Jerome Williams to the Knicks for Dikembe Mutombo, Othella Harrington, Frank Williams and Cezary Trybanski.
