Richard Gillman, the former CEO of Republic Windows and Doors, pleaded not guilty yesterday to charges of mail fraud, money laundering, organizing and continuing a financial crime enterprise, and felony theft. According to the Sun-Times:
Kane Pleads Not Guilty
As expected, Blackhawks star Patrick Kane pleaded not guilty to charges stemming from his alleged attack on a Buffalo, NY cab driver. His cousin, James M. Kane, also entered a not guilty plea. Both were indicted yesterday on a pair of misdemeanor charges in their alleged attack on a Buffalo, NY cab driver: third degree assault and theft of services. [Chicago Breaking News]
Ald. Carothers Pleads Not Guilty
Embattled alderman Ike Carothers appeared in federal court this morning and pleaded not guilty to four counts of wire and mail fraud, one count each of accepting a bribe, and one count of filing a false federal income tax return.
