The River East Art Center in Streeterville teemed with stylish young people on Sunday for the debut of Dose Market, a new monthly gathering of indie merchants offering up a host of chic, vintage, artisanal and otherwise cooler-than-thou products, all falling under the broad categories "Food + Fashion." Monday kicks off Chicago Fashion Week, previewing the Fall 2008 collections of national and international designers in a series of shows, fashion seminars, and networking events. With the New Generation fashion show, local fashion students are also being given the chance to showcase their work.
