December is off to a sunny and mild start today with clear skies and highs projected to be around 50. But enjoy it while it lasts because the rest of the week will a be a slide into the chill with even a bit of snow forecast as the week goes on (accumulation projections range from 0.2 inches to 5.7 inches which doesn't really do us a whole dang lot of good). After that brief warm-up at the end of the week, a chill is in the air once again as we head into the heart of fall. But with the chill's return also comes the return of that happy little guy we call "The Sun." He'll be well known this morning but clouds could increase as the days goes on and highs will struggle to reach the upper 40s with gusty winds making it feel even cooler.
