The cliche goes, "you have to want it bad enough." After last night's 2-0 loss to the Tampa Bay Lightning at the United Center, Blackhawks fans must be asking that of their team. They made Lightning backup goalie Mike Smith look like Grant Fuhr or Dominik Hasek. Smith posted his first shutout of the season with a 31-save performance. Add Michael Jordan to the growing list of current and former players proclaiming Derrick Rose NBA MVP. Jordan made his proclamation after the Bulls' 101-84 win over his Charlotte Bobcats. As for Rose, he had a workmanlike game with 20 points and six assists, but he hit four of his six three-point shots. The Bulls showed off their bench depth last night. Kyle Korver matched Rose with 20 points of his own, while Taj Gibson added 14 and Ronnie Brewer 10. Gibson might be back in a starting role, depending on the severity of Carlos Boozer's sprained ankle. The Blackhawks benefited from the return of Martin Havlat on Wednesday night.
