An 18-year-old Little Village teen was arrested on a charge of misdemeanor cruelty to animals. Gregory Crall, a student at Paul Simon Job Corps, a residential school, allegedly threw a rock at a goose, striking and killing it. A security guard saw the incident and reported it to police. Crall has a misdemeanor court appearance scheduled for June 24.

Teen Calls 911 Over Xbox Punishment
File this under "Why We Can't Have Nice Things." When a Buffalo Grove teen had his Xbox video game system taken away by his parents as punishment for an undisclosed transgression, he called the police to see if it was within their legal rights to do so. Sure enough, it is, the responding officers told him. Well, we're glad that clears that up. At this rate, the kid is probably one step away from becoming this guy:

Missing Teen Home Safe
A missing Highland Park teen is home safe after she went missing Friday evening while running. 17-year-old Caroline Stitcher returned home, and was transported to Highland Park Hospital for a checkup shortly after 9 p.m. on Saturday night.
Teen Arrested For Impersonating Police Officer
A 14-year-old teenager has been arrested for posing as a Chicago Police officer. What shocks us about all of this isn't that the kid tried it, but that he seems to have actually gotten away with it, if only for a short while. The teen showed up at the Grand Crossing District police station (7040 S. Cottage Grove Ave.), complete with uniform, and claimed to be "reporting for duty."
