Albert Pujols gave Cubs fans reason to dream last night.
Morning Box Score: Sox Rout Rangers, Cubs Blasted by Cards
Morning Box Score: Rangers Outshine White Sox 7-4
The Sox took an early lead, but once the Rangers got hot, there was no keeping up.
Morning Box Score: Cubs Pounce on Mets, Quentin Powers Sox
Through rain, snow, sleet or hail, the White Sox played through and beat Texas last night.
Morning Box Score: Danks May Be Odd Man Out
Right now, John Danks can't buy a win, and his 0-7 record may find him being the odd man out when Ozzie Guillen goes back to a five-man starting rotation.
Dye / Young Rumors Persist
Last week, White Sox GM Kenny Williams again found himself denying rumors that he was about to send his right fielder elsewhere in a trade. The latest whispers had Jermaine Dye headed to the Texas Rangers in return for all-star shortstop Michael Young. The Rangers were supposedly asking for Sox prospect Aaron Poreda in addition to Dye, and that might have been the deal breaker.
Derrek Lee Joins Cubs Fight Club
The fireworks continued to fly this past weekend at the again-not-so-Friendly Confines. Derrek Lee became the latest member of the Cubs to throw a punch, when he went after San Diego Padres pitcher Chris Young in the fourth inning after being plunked on the hand by a pitch. The altercation led to a bench-clearing brawl. In addition to Young and Lee, Padres pitcher Jake Peavy and Cubs hitting coach Gerald Perry were also tossed from...

As expected, manager Ozzie Guillen was a no-show because he was vacationing with his family. He noted to reporters, "A lot of managers push their players toward baseball and not enough toward family. Baseball isn't going to be around forever, but family will be." He mentioned how throughout the season, he allowed players away from...
Will World Series Wedding Rings be Available in the Giftshop?
A few months ago, we questioned some of the "fantasy experiences" that the White Sox offer, particularly the option to get married at the park. We know it might sound like an awesome idea to some guys... but we are pretty damn sure that there are no brides-to-be who would feel the same way.
