More Proof of D-Rose's 40-Inch Vertical
Derrick Rose has been making highlight reels all season. Last night, the man with the 40-inch vertical did it with his defense, streaking to block a shot against the Raptors' (and former Bull) James Johnson. Cheezis!!
Morning Box Score: Bulls Outlast Raptors, Lead East by Three
The Bulls didn’t let the last-place Raptors forget where they stand; almost. The Bulls gained a three-game lead in the Eastern Conference playoff standings with a close 113-106 victory over the Raptors Saturday night at the United Center.
Morning Box Score: Raptors Spoil Noah's Return
For the first time since early December, the Bulls were at full strength last night with the return of Joakim Noah from thumb surgery. Noah wasted no time returning to the court, grabbing 10 rebounds in the first 8 minutes of the game en route to a 16-rebound night. But the Bulls' defense was out of sync with his return and the Toronto Raptors were able to capitalize, earning a 118-113 victory. The Raptors' DeMar DeRozan and Andrea Bargnani each scored 24 points to lead Toronto, while Jose Calderon had a game-high 17 assists.
Morning Box Score: Bulls Keep A-Rollin'
Bullls 111, Raptors 91: That Christmas Day nightmare against the Knicks notwithstanding, the Bulls have shown two of the hallmarks of good teams the past couple of weeks. They're winning games in which they're struggling, as they did against the Nets and Cavaliers. Last night, they handily beat a team they were expected to beat handily.
Nets Drop Bulls, Bulls Drop to Fifth Seed
One night, one game, but three seeds lost on the final night of the NBA's regular season for the Bulls. Heading into the final game, the Bulls had the upper hand in winning the second seed in the Eastern Conference. All they had to do was win. Or Cleveland had to lose. But neither came to fruition.
Nocioni Returns To The Court
Injured prior to the All Star Break, Bulls forward Andres Nocioni finally returned to the court this weekend, scoring three points in 10 minutes against the Toronto Raptors on Sunday.

Last week was yet another stressful week for poor Antonio Davis. On Thursday, his wife Kendra was charged with battery stemming from an October "road rage" incident in Naperville in which she allegedly flug hot coffee at another motorist. Just as the hype surrounding her United Center bruhaha started to die down this comes to light! Did Antonio know about that run-in? Maybe he was trying to protect David Axelrod from his wife and not the other way around...
