Sometimes it pays to walk around the neighborhood after a long day in front of the computer. We captured this colossal cockup last night outside Zaytune Mediterranean Grill in Bridgeport. Eyewitnesses we spoke to at the scene said the truck at the right of the frame was chasing a dark blue Jeep on South Morgan for no other reason than it was a dark blue jeep. The truck clipped the Jeep and spun out of control, crashing into the truck in the middle of the frame. Westbound Eisenhower Expressway Lanes Closed

The westbound lanes of the Eisenhower Expressway at Cicero Avenue were closed this afternoon after a crash stemming from an incident where a Chicago Police bike patrol officer was hit by a vehicle on the West Side. A vehicle struck the officer, who is at Loretto Hospital in stable condition, and then left the scene of the accident, heading east in the westbound lanes before crashing.
