White Sox To Play Tucson Charity Game
In the town now infamous for the shooting that killed six and left 14 others, including Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords, injured two months ago, the White Sox will play a charity game today in honor of the shooting's youngest victim. The White Sox and Diamondbacks will take the field in Tucson, AZ, with the proceeds benefiting a fund set up in remembrance of 9-year-old Christina Taylor Green. Christina was the granddaughter of former Cubs GM Dallas Green, who also held numerous other jobs with Major League teams. Her father is Dodgers scout John Green.
Man Falls to His Death in Downtown Parking Garage
A man fell three stories to his death in a downtown parking garage located at 171 North Wabash Avenue yesterday night, as he was on his way to the Anita Baker show at the Chicago Theater. The 63 year-old man got on and fell off on an employee "man lift," which is essentially an open-air shaft that is mainly used by employees and valets.

The child was missing since Monday, when he was picked up by his father, Donald Johnson, who refused to turn Dontrell over to his mother, threatened the boy with harm unless Donald Johnson and Dontrell's mother reconciled, and refused to tell police of the boy's whereabouts.
Judge: Clear Channel To Remain On E2 Lawsuits
Cook County Judge Kathy Flanigan today denied a motion from media conglomerate Clear Channel requesting a summary judgment that would have removed it from dozens of lawsuits stemming from the 2003 E2 nightclub stampede. Clear Channel's inclusion as a defendant in the wrongful death and personal injury lawsuits one of the disc jockeys accused of inciting the stampede was a Clear Channel employee means that lawyers representing victims of the 21 dead and over 50 injured can now ask for more damages or make movements for quick settlements. Last November E2 owners Dwain Kyles and Calvin Hollins were sentenced to two years in prison for criminal contempt after refusing to comply with city orders to close the club for building code violations. On June 6 avid storm chaser Fabian Guerra died in a car accident to meet up with two of his compatriots, leaving behind his wife and 12-year-old daughter. Fabian also left behind a bereaved Chicago music community, many of who he haad given their start in the back room of The Big Horse in Wicker Park.
