Charges Filed In Darien Murders
Charges have been filed against two men in connection with this week's triple murder of Jeffrey Kramer, 50, his wife Lori Kramer, 46, and their son Michael, 20 in the west suburb of Darien. Authorities say Johnny Borizov, the ex-boyfriend of the Kramer's daughter Angela, planned to kill the entire Kramer family and enlisted (even badgered) Jacob Nodarse to help him. Borizov and Angela were mired in a custody dispute over their 13-month-old son which authorities describe as the motive for the killings. Borizov was charged with three counts of first-degree murder, four counts of solicitation of murder and one count of conspiracy to commit murder while Nodarse faces three counts of first-degree murder and one count of conspiracy to commit murder. The Sun-Times reports that after Nodarse's arrest, he had a taped conversation with Borizov in which Borizov acknowledged his role in the killings.

The alert describes him as 'possibly suicidal.'"
Police Make Arrest In Triple Homicide Case
Chicago Police have arrested Martin Ybarra (pictured right), 20, in connection with last week's gang-related shooting near 87th Street and Exchange Ave. which left three Southeast Side teenagers dead. Ybarra has been charged with three counts of murder and police believe he may have been the one to pull the trigger on the semi-automatic weapon used in the shooting, though officials say they are still seeking others who were involved in the shooting. The shooting followed what residents of the neighborhood called an escalation of violence between gangs over the preceding days. The shooting claimed the lives of three teens: Raheem "Chiko" Washington, 15, Kendrick Pitts, 17, and Johnny Edwards, 13. Family members and friends say Washington and Pitts had previously been involved with gang skirmishes, though according to the Tribune report, it's still unclear if any of the three were actually targets.
Three Maywood Teens Killed, Fourth Wounded In Weekend Shooting
Three Maywood teens were killed and a fourth injured early Saturday morning when the car they were in was riddled with bullets. Now, two days after the shooting, the families and police are left asking, "Why?" Devin Stokes (left), Kent Flowers Jr. (center), and Oscar Pritchett (right), all 18-years old, were killed in the shooting. A fourth boy remains in critical condition, though media outlets are not identifying him because he is considered a witness. The shooting happened in the 1900 block of Harrison Street, outside of Flowers' home shortly after midnight early Saturday morning.
