As we approach the anniversary of another tragedy, we will set aside time to reflect but still plan to get on with our weekend....
A north-bound Blue Line train struck and killed a person this afternoon at the Washington Street station. This only happened a few hours ago, so there's no information yet on the identity of the victim or the cause of the accident. Trains aren't running in either direction but the CTA is providing shuttle busses between Racine and Grand. According to the blurb in the Trib, trains were still not running at 4:45�no word on when they'll start up again. Trains started again but the bus will run until 6.
