Flores In For Mulling Run For Mayor, But Not Yet

Windy Citizen's Anna Tarkov is reporting a "credible source" as saying former 1st Ward alderman Manny Flores is going to join the run for mayor. Flores left the City Council in January to head the Illinois Commerce Commission. Given the rumors and conjecture that have been flying around the past week about who's in, who's out, and who's just mulling a run, we're skeptical until we hear it straight from the candidate's mouth, but considering Flores' role in previous issues like the TIF Sunshine ordinance, a run at mayor wouldn't be that big of a surprise. more ›
