Yuri Lane may be based in San Francisco, but his occasional appearances in Chicago make it feel as though we should claim "the Human Beatbox" as one of our own. But Lane is much more than a musician. His play From Tel Aviv to Ramallah: A Hip Hop Journey blew the cobwebs off Around the Coyote a few years back.
