Acclaimed indie-rock vets The National are set to play a big Chicago stage next week, when they'll perform at the closing event for the inaugural Obama Foundation Summit. But fans will have the opportunity—if they're lucky—to catch the band for free in a much smaller room earlier in the week.

House of Vans will host a show by the band on Monday, Oct. 30 at its Chicago location (113 N. Elizabeth St.). The all-ages concert is free of charge, but you have to enter to win tickets through a lottery. The ticket ballot is open now and closes at midnight. Winners will be announced at noon on Friday.

Enter the ballot here.

If you don't manage to score a ticket, you can at least catch their Obama Foundation Summit performance—while will be livestreamed—online. Chance the Rapper and Gloria Estefan are also scheduled to perform at the Summit.

Check out the band's most recent video, "I'll Still Destroy You," below.
