Passing the Torch

The Cubs' Mark Prior recorded his first win of the season as the Cubs beat division rival Houston 7-2. Prior allowed 5 hits and no runs over 5 innings, while striking out 8 batters.

2004_06_sportsclemens.jpgIn winning his first game, Prior and the Cubs handed the ageless Roger Clemens his first loss of the season. Entering the game 9-0 this season, Clemens missed out posting only the 7th 10-0 start to a season since 1961. The last two pitchers to accomplish this feat? Roger Clemens in 1997, and Roger Clemens in 1986 -- When Mark Prior was 5 years old!
