Alberta Jones of LaPorte, Indiana was tired of all those squirrels raiding her bird feeder. She'd been yelling at them, and using fireworks to scare them away, to no avail. So, she did what any other red-blooded, gun-toting American would do. She got out her 16-gauge shotgun to blast the varmint. But then she missed...er...she accidentally shot herself, and the critter got away.
