Ryan Family Values

In what's sure to be a much talked about news story in coming days and weeks, files unsealed today relating to GOP Senate candidate Jack Ryan's divorce from actress Jeri Ryan reveal some juicy details, including allegations that Jack Ryan took her to sex clubs on a number of occasions and tried to pressure her into "perform[ing] a sexual act while others watched."

"It was a bizarre club with cages, whips and other apparatus hanging from the ceiling," Jeri Ryan said. These trips occurred in New Orleans, Paris and New York.

Candidate Jack had a different take on at least one of the events, "I did arrange romantic getaways for us, but that did not include the type of activity she described. We did go to one avant-garde nightclub in Paris which was more than either one of us felt comfortable with. We left and vowed never to return."

In a live press conference taking place as this post is being written, Ryan continually refuses to respond to the questions about these allegations while bringing up how important his son is to him and how he has fought the release of these documents simply to protect his son.
